GOLFERS CLUB TOGETHER TO RAISE FUNDS

Dozens of keen golfers turned out for this year’s CTBF annual Golf Day at the stunning Mentmore Golf and Country Club.

Workers from across the film and television industry - from managing directors to cinema projectionists – helped make the day a great success, raising over £10,000 for the CTBF.

The event was again blessed with perfect weather, and 18 holes of Championship golf was followed by a BBQ lunch and drinks on the terrace.

The CTBF’s annual Golf Day is a great way for people in the industry to meet up with colleagues and clients, while supporting a good cause.

The fund’s president Stan Fishman, who presented the winners with their prizes, was thrilled by the turn out and said: “Everyone I spoke to had a wonderful day, and helped raise a lot of money for the CTBF.”

He added: “The demands on the fund’s resources grow every year and the number of beneficiaries is gradually rising. In the last few years we have noticed an increasing number of applicants under the age of 50, which is why it is great to see people of all ages in the industry getting behind their trade charity.”

The CTBF would like to thank all those who turned out to support the fund and for making the day a great success.
