Filmharmonic Concert

5 June 2005 - Royal Albert Hall

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra arranged a concert to benefit the CTBF, reviving our concept from the 1970's - "FILMHARMONIC".

The standards were conducted by Paul Hudson, plus Guest conductors. Presented by Simon Bates of Classic FM, some of the featured film scores on the night were; ET, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Moulin Rouge, Ladies in Lavender, The Great Escape, Out of Africa, Mission Impossible and a tribute to Elmer Bernstein (Magnificent Seven & Far From Heaven).

It was a night to remember, with a touch of nostalgia thrown in.

A commemorative RPO Filmharmonic CD, featuring all the music scores performed on the spectacular evening is available for purchase by contacting The CTBF Events Team on 020 7437 6567.
