
The CTBF owns and manages its own Residential Care Home with Nursing called Glebelands, which aims to provide a comfortable home in a caring environment set in its own grounds near the centre of Wokingham in East Berkshire. The accommodation provided consists of one and two bedroom rooms with en-suite facilities for 41 individuals. Glebelands also accepts short-term visitors for holiday breaks.
All rooms have a lovely view of the grounds, television and telephone points and a refreshing cup of tea is brought to you every morning before breakfast.
Expert care staff are on duty 24 hours a day including trained nursing staff.
The House is a grade 2 listed large country house built in the late Victorian era and offers spacious well-appointed accommodation. The residents enjoy an atmosphere of calm and contentment while an air of gracious living pervades the extensive communal rooms. There is a library, cinema, bar, and a conservatory plus a rose garden and tennis court within the extensive private gardens. There are 8 acres of rolling lawns, mature trees including a giant cedar and woodland, which provide a delightful setting for retirement or a holiday.
