The first winners of the John Brabourne CTBF Awards were announced on the 18th of October 2007. The CTBF would like to take the opportunity to congratulate the winners Amanda Boyle, Sasha Collington, Daniel Cullen and Emile Dinneen.

The John Brabourne Awards Committee chose the winners after a grueling interview process, which saw the four exceptional candidates making their case for the award and presenting examples of their work in front of the Committee.

One of the winners, Sasha Collinson commented on her success: "I was absolutely delighted to receive a John Brabourne Award. It has made an enormous difference to me in relieving financial pressure and allowing me to focus on my films."

Brilliantly talented Amanda, Sasha, Daniel and Emile received cash awards ranging from £3000 to £5000.
